- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup crushed Hot Cheetos
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Start by cutting the mozzarella cheese into sticks.
- Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with crushed Hot Cheetos mixed with breadcrumbs.
- Dip each mozzarella stick first in flour, then in the egg, and finally coat it with the Hot Cheeto mixture.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the mozzarella sticks until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Remove from oil and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra crunch, double coat the mozzarella sticks.
- Make sure the oil is hot enough before frying to prevent the cheese from leaking out.
- These can also be baked in the oven for a healthier option.
