- 2 cans (21 oz each) Lucky Leaf Apple Pie Filling
- 1 jar (12 oz) Smucker’s Caramel Topping
- 1 box Betty Crocker Super Moist Spice Cake Mix
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Pour the Lucky Leaf apple pie filling into a 9×13 inch pan, spreading it evenly.
- Drizzle 3/4 of the Smucker’s caramel topping over the apples.
- Sprinkle the dry Spice Cake mix evenly over the top.
- Arrange the sliced butter evenly across the layer of cake mix.
- Place the pan into the oven and bake for 45-50 minutes.
- Drizzle the remaining caramel on top after it comes out of the oven.
Notes
For best results, use room-temperature butter and do not overbake. This cake can be prepared a day in advance and baked just before serving.
