Description

Delicious brownie cups layered with creamy cheesecake for a decadent dessert experience.


Ingredients

  • 1 box of brownie mix
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Chocolate chips (optional)
  • Whipped cream (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the brownie mix with the water, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth.
  3. Line your muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  4. Fill each liner halfway with the brownie batter.
  5. Beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until creamy.
  6. Fold in the sour cream into the cream cheese mixture.
  7. Spoon the cheesecake mixture over the brownie batter in each cup.
  8. Top with chocolate chips if desired.
  9. Bake for 18-20 minutes until the cheesecake is set but slightly jiggly.
  10. Cool for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  11. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
  12. Serve with whipped cream on top.

Notes

Make-ahead: Prepare the brownie base a day in advance. You can also use low-fat cream cheese or Greek yogurt.
