- 8 oz Spaghetti
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 Egg
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 small Onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 cups Marinara Sauce
Instructions
- Cook the Spaghetti: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook until al dente, according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare the Meatballs: In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, onion, Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Mix gently and form into meatballs.
- Brown the Meatballs: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes.
- Simmer with Sauce: Pour marinara sauce over meatballs, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes on low heat.
- Serve and Enjoy: Plate spaghetti, top with meatballs and sauce, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Notes
Prepare meatballs a day in advance and refrigerate for optimal flavors. You can also customize with herbs or spices to taste.
