- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 2 cups fresh raspberries
- 2 cups mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 12–15 graham crackers or ladyfingers
- Zest of 1 lemon (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare your berries: Wash and dry the strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. Slice the strawberries and set aside a handful of mixed berries for garnishing.
- Whip the cream: In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until stiff peaks form.
- Prepare the mascarpone mixture: In another bowl, mix mascarpone cheese and optional lemon zest. Gently fold in the whipped cream.
- Layer the lasagna: In a serving dish, spread a layer of mascarpone mixture, followed by graham crackers or ladyfingers, then a layer of mixed berries. Repeat and finish with mascarpone on top.
- Chill for perfection: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Garnish and serve: Top with reserved mixed berries before serving.
Notes
This dessert is best enjoyed fresh within 24-48 hours. Perfect for preparing ahead of time and enhances flavors when chilled overnight.
