- 1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients as per package instructions)
- 1 cup chocolate chip cookie dough
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (for brownies)
- 2 eggs (for brownies)
- 1/4 cup water (for brownies)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your baking pan with butter or cooking spray.
- Prepare the brownie batter according to the box instructions, combining the brownie mix with melted butter, eggs, and water.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into your prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
- Spread a layer of cookie dough over the brownie base, flattening gently.
- Sprinkle the crushed Oreo cookies on top of the cookie layer.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter over the Oreo layer and spread gently.
- If using, sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
- Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
- Let the bars cool in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack and slice into squares.
