Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Dredge the chicken in flour, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally roll in the crushed pretzels.
  4. Sear the chicken in a skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  5. Transfer the seared chicken to a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Make the sauce by combining heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and shredded cheddar in a saucepan over low heat until smooth.
  7. Drizzle the sauce over the chicken before serving.
