- 1 package of puff pastry sheets
- 1 cup cooked sausage, crumbled
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg for egg wash
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a floured surface and cut them into 4-inch squares.
- Whisk together the eggs in a bowl.
- Stir in the cooked, crumbled sausage and shredded cheese, then season with salt and pepper.
- Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture in the center of each pastry square.
- Fold the pastry over the filling and seal the edges tightly.
- Brush the tops with a beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
For make-ahead convenience, assemble the puffs the night before and refrigerate. You can also use an air fryer for a crunchier result.
