Description

A versatile and flavorful seasoned ground beef filling, perfect for tacos or any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: additional veggies (like corn or black beans)

Instructions

  1. Add the ground beef to a skillet over medium heat. Cook until beautifully browned, around 5-7 minutes, using a wooden spoon to break it up.
  2. Drain excess fat carefully—this step keeps the dish rich without being greasy.
  3. Toss in the chopped onion, minced garlic, and diced bell pepper. Sauté until softened, approximately 3-5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the taco seasoning and pour in the water. Mix well until each strand of beef is coated.
  5. Allow everything to simmer gently for about 5 minutes, or until the sauce thickens beautifully.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as desired.
  7. Serve warm in taco shells, tortillas, or use it as a filling for burritos or salad bowls.

Notes

This seasoned ground beef stores well and can be made ahead. Reheat as needed.
