- 8 oz smoked trout, flaked
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tbsp capers, rinsed and chopped
- 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
- Olive oil, for brushing
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the smoked trout, cream cheese, sour cream, lemon juice, dill, and capers until well combined.
- Brush the baguette slices with olive oil and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake the baguette slices for about 5-7 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- Remove the crostini from the oven and let them cool slightly.
- Spread the smoked trout dip generously on each crostini.
- Garnish with additional dill or capers if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
- For a smoky flavor, you can use smoked cream cheese.
- This dip can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
