- Sprinkle the salt over the rested dough and incorporate by pinching and folding until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a warm area and cover it to rise for 4-6 hours, until doubled in size.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and shape it into a loaf by folding the edges towards the center.
- Let it rest and rise for an additional 1-2 hours, covered.
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) with the Dutch oven inside for 30 minutes.
- Carefully place the dough into the hot Dutch oven, cover it, and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the lid and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Transfer the bread to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
