Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your 9×9-inch baking pan.
  2. Mix melted butter with granulated and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until fully integrated.
  4. Stir in the sourdough starter, folding gently until everything is combined.
  5. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder in another bowl.
  6. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, folding gently.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
