- 8 oz Spaghetti
- 1 cup Ricotta cheese
- 4 oz Cream cheese
- 1 lb Ground beef or turkey
- 2 cups Spaghetti sauce
- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 2 Eggs
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Basil, dried
- 1 tsp Oregano, dried
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, whip together the ricotta cheese, cream cheese, herbs, egg, salt, and pepper until fluffy.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground meat until browned. Add the spaghetti sauce and let simmer.
- Mix the cooked spaghetti into the meat sauce until well coated.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased pie dish, pressing it down firmly.
- Spread the ricotta mixture evenly over the spaghetti layer.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake for about 30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
Customize by swapping beef with turkey or adding veggies. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for 3 months.
