Description

A vibrant jam that harmoniously blends the sweetness of kiwis with the heat of aji peppers, perfect for a variety of dishes.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup aji peppers, minced (or peppers of choice)
  • 1 cup kiwi, crushed (about 34 kiwis)
  • 1/3 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons no-sugar pectin

Instructions

  1. Combine the minced aji peppers and crushed kiwi in a large bowl.
  2. Stir in the fresh lime juice.
  3. Add the no-sugar pectin and mix until fully incorporated.
  4. Pour the mixture into a saucepan over medium heat.
  5. Bring it to a gentle boil and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
  6. Remove from heat and let cool completely before transferring to sterilized jars.

Notes

Make sure to use ripe kiwis and fresh aji peppers for the best flavor. Sterilize jars before using.
