Description

A delightful fusion of Italian pasta and Mexican flavors, Taco Stuffed Shells are filled with seasoned ground beef, topped with cheese, and served with fresh toppings for a festive meal.


Ingredients

  • 12 Jumbo Pasta Shells
  • 1 lb Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning
  • 2 cups Cheese (sharp cheddar, Mexican blend, or pepper jack)
  • Toppings: sour cream, diced tomatoes, chopped lettuce, olives, avocado, fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Add the taco seasoning to the beef and stir until well-coated.
  5. Stuff each shell with the beef mixture and place in a baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle cheese on top of the stuffed shells.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melty and bubbly.
  8. Serve warm with your favorite toppings.

Notes

Prepare stuffed shells up to a day in advance and store in the refrigerator. For vegetarian options, substitute ground beef with lentils or black beans.
