- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine 1 cup of peanut butter, 1 cup of brown sugar, and 1/2 cup of granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
- Add 1 large egg, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Stir until well incorporated.
- Drop generous spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden and centers are slightly underbaked.
- Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For thicker cookies, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking. Try a fork to create a crisscross pattern before baking!
