Ingredients

- 2 pounds potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking dish with butter.
- Combine the heavy cream, milk, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a saucepan over medium heat and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the greased baking dish, then pour half of the creamy mixture over the potatoes.
- Sprinkle half of the cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese over the top.
- Repeat the layers, adding the remaining potatoes and cream mixture, and topping with the rest of the cheeses.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before garnishing with chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Can be prepared a day in advance. Just cover and refrigerate before baking. For shorter cooking time, consider using an air fryer.
